Shawmont’s Attendance & Bell Schedule
School Day:
Official school day: 7:30am to 2:09pm. Staff is in schoolyard starting at 7:00am for families who need to drop their students off early. Students who arrive after 7:30am are late
Breakfast:
K-2: Breakfast in the Classroom from 7:30am to 7:45am
3-8: Grab and Go Breakfasts in the Schoolyard from 7:15am to 7:30am
Dismissal
Staggered dismissal starts at 2:00pm and ends at 2:09pm

Dress Code/Uniforms
Tops
All K-8 students must wear solid-colored navy blue or white shirts. Alternative colors are acceptable only if a student is wearing a Shawmont shirt (ex. Academy shirts).
Acceptable shirt style include:
- Collared shirts
- Cardigans
- Solid colored Sweatshirts, Quarter Zips (without hoods)
- T-shirts
The following are not allowed:
- Sleeveless tops, including shirts with straps
- Shirts that do not fully cover a student’s midriff
- All hoodies
